Max Weidacher

 is a craftsman and designer based in Vienna, Austria. He graduated as an architect at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in 2012. During this time he spent one year in Ahmedabad, India, studying at CEPT University and travelling. In 2024 he completed his architecture studies at the Vienna University of Technology with a collaborative applied research project in rural Uganda. Parallel to his academic projects, he has worked as a craftsman on various construction sites around the world and conducted workshops on earthen building techniques. Focusing on circular economy in art, design and architecture he co-founded the studio zirka circa.

Manon Véret

 is a French designer and artist living in Vienna. She moved to Austria in 2018 after graduating from the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. After a period of working in a design studio, she began to explore her own practice with a focus on craftsmanship and the reuse of resources. Alongside furniture and interior design projects, she spends time in the studio working with a variety of media such as paint, fabric or clay. More recently she has focused on printmaking and illustration.

is a space to share the work they do together. There is no attempt to follow a specific line, but rather to go with the flow of the projects as they come up. Respect for resources and what already exists, be it materials or spaces, is seen as essential. This is achieved by considering the possibilities of re-use and renovation from the very beginning of the design process.
